Be Still and Know is a non-profit organization committed to arming children with positive tools necessary
to fight negative battles. For the past four years we have hosted and supported events, fundraisers, activities, and programs
aimed to empower young people. We create and develop curriculum used to educate, motivate and inspire children. Our innovative
programs build character and encourage children to live drug-free, alcohol-free, and violent-free lifestyles!
Today
young people are facing overwhelming pressures to be liked, accepted and validated by their peers. They imitate the behaviors
of those they perceive are cool. Often these trendsetters are actors, singers, rappers, and athletes.
Many lyrics and
images used in hip-hop and alternative music; seen in musical videos and video game graphics are depicting obscene actions
as cool. Our children view their heroes participating in wild sexual scenes, while abusing drugs and alcohol. These unruly
behaviors are presented to kids and labeled…cool!
We fight fire with fire. We exploit our celebrity's platform to inspire
young people. We utilize celebrities armed with powerful educational tools to counter act the campaigns of negativity. We
offer high profiled role models who will encourage kids to become productive citizens!
Celebrity Motivational Tour:
We take celebrities to schools, churches, youth centers, children's hospitals, and other venues where they can share their
achievements and their disappointments. They share through open, honest dialogue, not preaching self-righteousness.
Literary
Program: Tommy Ford has written more than twelve storybooks, and activity/coloring books. Each edition is filled with beautiful
illustrations and positive words of encouragement. These character building tools come with lesson plan and teacher's guide.
Fundraiser Opportunities: If you are making outstanding efforts to empower our youth, then we will be excited to partner
with your organization as it motivates children around the world. We will use our special educational tools to assist you
in your efforts to educate children.
